The AK Trigger Ultimate with Lightning Bow (AKT-UL) is a single stage trigger is designed for the AK47 and AK74 variant platforms. The ALG Defense AK series of triggers were designed to work with most AK variants without fitting. With AK variants that have a rivet for the rear of the trigger guard, commonly acting as an anti-slap feature, this rivet should be no greater than 0.062 inches tall. Our AK series of triggers are designed to work with rivets that are 0.062 inches in height or less. If this rivet is higher than 0.062 inches, the rivet will have to be shaved down to allow for more clearance. Having improper clearance can result in damage to the disconnector itself. Alternatively, if the user does not choose to modify the rivet, you can opt to modify the underside of the disconnector to increase the clearance between the bottom of the disconnector and the rivet in the receiver. It is not recommended to completely remove the tail of the disconnector as adverse issues may arise, such as trigger slap. Most users prefer to bevel (angle) the disconnector in the area that would contact the rivet. We recommend shaving down the rivet, not the disconnector tail. Please note, we do recommend having a qualified gunsmith install and perform all fitting of fire control groups. AK receivers and parts coming from a wide origin of manufacture vary, there is no agreed upon set specifications. As such, fitting may be required. Please note the rivet and/or disconnect will need the proper clearance as per the chart below, failure to have the correct clearance will cause damage. ***The ALG AKT (EL/UL) is not compatible with the 12 Gauge and 308 / 7.62x54r variants Specifications for ALG Defense AK Trigger Ultimate with Lightning Bow: Manufacturer: ALG Defense Color: Silver Gun Model: AK-74, AK-47 Gun Type: Rifle Condition: New Package Contents: ALG Defense AK Trigger Ultimate with Lightning Bow The ALG Defense AK Trigger Ultimate with Lightning Bow is a quality addition to the ALG Defense lineup. ALG AKT Ultimate is a fantastic trigger, i thought their AKT Enhanced was great but they've outdone themselves. This is an amazingly crisp and short resetting trigger and eliminates quite a bit of the trigger slap experienced in their Enhanced AKT (full parkerized trigger kit) this particular trigger listed on OP is the Ultimate version with the NiB coating on the trigger itself. If you were confused like me at first just double check the part numbers on here with the part numbers on ALG's website if you aren't sure which trigger you're looking at.The only downside is this trigger is so good that I honestly won't be using it long on my SLR104UR because it is so light and the pull to break is about 2mm and 1.75lbs.It's an accidental discharge machine waiting to happen and i have already outran the bolt carrier group. This trigger is going in my 7.62x54R vepr target rifle and I will be putting the ALG AKT Enhanced back into my SLR104UR. I would only recommend this trigger in a hunting or target rifle because it is so fantastically smooth, crisp and light.

Expect to do some filing if you purchase this trigger for the KP9. The face of the hammer needs to be slimmed down to allow the bolt to cycle smoothly above it. A cheap set of jewelers files, a few fine grit sanding stones and a small vice will get the job done. After getting this trigger system shaped and polished, I'd say that it is well worth the price and feels way better that the original trigger. The pin that engages your KP9's safety will also need to be shaved down. This allows you to align the tolerance between this pin and your safety lever to a a level that has 0 play when the selector switch is set to safe, which I have never seen with an OEM trigger. Its quite satisfying. I added the extra tension spring the ALG ultimate trigger came with and I also purchased the "ALG Defense AK high Energy Main Spring". With both springs I would assess that the trigger is approximately a 4-5 pounds but could easily be made lighter. The trigger offers a smooth pull. It breaks and stops simultaneously at approximately 3mm compressed. The trigger then resets once the trigger has come fully forward. I highly recommend the trigger system. Once you get it installed properly, you wont regret it.

This trigger is very smooth. Consistently pulling 3lbs. On a trigger pull gauge. Used factory hammer spring and the little auxiliary spring that comes with the kit . Reset is very nice and pretty short.

Get out the jewelers tools and vice for this one.The construction of the ALG trigger is leaps and bounds better than any AK trigger I have seen. The trigger drops right into the KUSA KP9 and the alignment is perfect. You will very likely want to take some metal of the hammer. I took quite a bit off the face of the hammer and mirror finished all parts that slide against metal. When installed properly, this trigger will function better than most AR and Gucci Glock triggers. This has been, by far, my favorite mod to my SBR KP9. Here is how I recommend you do it:Install the ALG trigger into your KP9. Everything should it snug and you should be able to engage the hammer by pulling the trigger. You may also notice that the safety doesn't work yet. You will need the extra pin the ALG came with so the safety can engage, but I will talk to that later.Put the bolt carrier back into the KP9 and try to pull the charging handle. You will notice that the bolt carrier is now being pinched my the ALG hammer and is no longer able to cycle freely and is likely hanging up on the bottom of the bolt. Take a sharpie and color in the top of the hammer so you can see exactly where the rubbing is occurring.Begin grinding the rubbing area down. It will take some time. If you don't want to spend all night on it, you may want to use a grinder. I took approximately 2mm off the very top of the hammer and smoothed it out to make an "S" shape. Keep applying sharpie, and seeing where the wear is occurring. Keep taking metal off the hammer until the bolt carrier can travel back unimpeded by the hammer. The bolt carrier rides on rails internal to the KP9. When it rides backwards, it reengages the hammer. The OEM hammer is quite a bit smaller and doesn't push the bolt upward by much when the bolt carrier travels backward. An unaltered ALG trigger will cause unnecessary wear to the rails inside your kp9. You are going to want to talk off enough metal to where the bolt doesn't feel overly tight. Try to get the the hammer grinded down to where it feels the same as the OEM trigger when you pull back the bolt carrier.Once you are happy with the way the bolt carrier slides over the hammer, I'd recommend polishing the areas where metal slides on metal, to include the ramp on the back of the bolt carrier. This will help minimize wear in the rifle and make the trigger squeeze buttery smooth. You will also have to install the roller pin that allows the safety to engage the trigger mechanism. After you hammer it in, you will have to file a little off the top so it will fit under the safety lever. Once you have the safety pin property set up, it will lock the trigger in place with extremely tight tolerances. The trigger will essentially be fixed in place when the safety is engaged. It took a few hours to get everything situated with this trigger, but it's definitely worth it. It comes with a extra tention spring to increase the draw of the trigger. but both with and without are fairly light. I'd say you can change it from 3 pounds to 5 pounds, but I am just guessing. The trigger draw is only about 3mm and it resets at 2mm. The trigger does not have a wall and instead has a smooth draw that breaks right at the end of the 3mm draw. Its extremely easy to rapid fire this trigger. It just works great with the overall feel of the KP9. Highly recommended.

This trigger is a huge improvement over the factory trigger. I have installed an ALG trigger in an AR-15 platform which was a great improvement. But the difference between the factory trigger and the ALG for the PSAK-47 is amazing. It is worth every penny. Keep in mind this dramatically reduces the trigger pull weight and travel. There is a different spring included that will increase trigger pull if it is too light for your taste. Installation was relatively easy. Any issues I encountered were rifle design/AK issues that were easy to overcome and get it installed. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!
