In my opinion this is a nice upgrade and huge improvement from factory installed hinged trigger. I have the M&P 45 2.0 I’m going to do next. If you’re handy and take your time you could do it yourself but watch the Apex video(s) first. The “slave pin” as they call it gave me some trouble because the trigger spring digs into the plastic pin while trying to capture the spring but YMMV. I think if Apex provided a steel slave pin the spring would glide over the steel much easier than plastic but that is not what they provide. Also make sure you have the tapered end of the pin headed in the same direction the S&W trigger pin is going when reassembling. It is easier having the tapered end exiting the hole than the full diameter blunt end. Thanks OpticsPlantet for the great product selection and Customer Service.
