Really had to convince myself to spend the money but I had no idea how bad my trigger really was. Received a laser target practice aid as a gift. After “dry” firing my M&P 9c (not 2.0) many times I started to really feel the crappy stock trigger. After purchasing and installing this trigger it’s a new gun. What a difference how smooth and short the pull is. Crisp and clean shooting. I’m very happy I purchased this product. I would highly recommend purchasing one if you’re in the market.

This kit completely changed the feel of the M&P 45 I installed it in. Installation is pretty easy with the most difficult part being the break down of the trigger group. The trigger reset and pull were significantly lowered with the trigger pull decreasing considerably (I did not do a trigger pull test to see how many lbs it took). The take-up was also significantly decreased my M&P shoots like a competition gun now and feels great. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone with a M&P series pistol that dislikes soft mushy triggers.

Apex trigger install is super easy – and the results are exactly as promised. I can say they are easy because the online video quality is so poor that the process has to be intuitive. This is 100% a DIY job and you’ll be happy for the upgrade.

Everyone already knows the quality of these triggers and the crappiness of the factory trigger, so I won’t beat a dead horse. I would recommend, w/o a doubt. I recommend waiting till there’s a promo available to you before purchasing, and if you’re military/first responders you can call in and get a discount too!

Bought a M&P 9c about 5 years ago for use when RVing because of its versatility as a 10 round concealable weapon or a high capacity home defense weapon. The gun has always functioned well but the crunchy weird trigger has always made me sorry I bought it. This kit has elevated this gun to another level. Changing the firing pin block and spring is enough to really improve the gun but installing the whole kit made the gun amazing.I used the 4lb spring and the trigger pull feels similar to a 1911 which in my opinion is the perfect single action trigger

If your M&P Pistol was made before June of 2011, you will need to purchase a a sear housing block assembly, as S&W changed size of sear plunger and spring after June 2011, from 1/16", to: 1/8". This trigger kit will only work with new sear block/plunger/spring. You will also need "S" or "H" trigger bar (S+H trigger bars were never made for M&P45, don't exist). Bar will be blank w/no "S" or "H" letter stamped into it if you need to replace it on M&P9, .40, Sig .357. If you have a Black Striker Assembly you will want to replace it with the newer Silver Striker Assembly, according to the makers of this product, Apex Tactical via email. I deducted a couple of stars for the hassle of having to research all of this. This info should be included in product description.
