It only took minutes to install with minimal tools and know how. The best upgrade for any M9. The stock trigger left a lot to be desired. This quick upgrade improved the trigger tremendously ! I will do this to all Berettas.

The factory trigger as anyone knows is horrible. The difference this trigger made for the price and 20 min install is unreal. Much lighter pull and break, this trigger feels better quality then original. Highly reccomend. Optics planet delivered very fast as always

My Beretta 92 Compact's original trigger had a pull that was off the scale of my trigger pull gauge. It felt like trying to pull a 10 lb stone with your finger. I bought this Upgrade kit from Optics Planet and installed it in about 20 minutes as I had a little bit of trouble getting the trigger spring over the correct pin, (my own fault) The hammer spring only took a minute once I stripped the gun down and the difference in the pull was both obvious & immediate. It went form over 10 lbs to under 6. It is like the double action pull of my Colt Python after I smoothed it out a little. The change is most obvious in the double action trigger pull though not so much in the single action pull which is great by itself. No more straining till your hand is shaking on the double action ie; first, shot. Pulling the springs to get to the trigger may look hard but is actually very easy There is/was a very good video on this subject on YouTube that shows the entire procedure and is easy to follow and is even easier than it looks. Now the trigger sits a little further back so I don't have to reach so far with my smaller hands. The only tools I needed to install were a screwdriver for the grips, a small hammer and a 1/16 pin punch, I used the pin punch both on the hammer spring and on the trigger spring to get it into position on the second pin.I rate this as the very best upgrade available for the first step of you Beretta 92 or M9 upgrade process and well worth the price. I wish Beretta would install this upgrade on all there pistols. One suggestion, the hammer spring is under tension when you release the pin holding the plunger in place, you might want to put the pistol in a plastic bag while you drive out the pin to keep the old spring and end cap from shooting off the bench on you. I did and I didn't lose any parts.
