Zero triggers are the only triggers on the market that allow users to tune the trigger tail to the safety. They are also the only triggers on the market with arc welded pull-weight and disconnector set screws for a lifetime of use without the loosening or failing of parts. The bottom of the Zero trigger housing features threaded holes that straddle both the front and rear of the trigger tail. Hardened set screws are provided and can be installed through these threaded holes to finely tune the trigger location and push it into contact with the safety. The trigger tail shape is also modified to cup the safety drum. This patent-pending design allows for fine tuning that eliminates any take-up or over-travel. The trigger, hammer, and disconnector are also EDM cut and then polished with brass wire to a micron finish in all critical contact areas for a friction-less engagement. The triggers reset is both short and positive to facilitate faster shooting during training or competition. One of the fastest, cleanest, crispiest and good looking triggers I’ve owned. I own a Velocity in my AR-9, Triggertech Diamond, CMC & Hiperfire. All nice but the Blackout stands out in the slightest bit. Compared to the Triggertech the pills are very similar but the reset in the BO is definitely better, more pronounced and felt. The TriggerTech is adjustable and you can feel and hear the reset but not like the BO. Hands down recommend and love.

This thing is great! Has a super fast reset and allows for very accurate shooting with the lack of slack in the pull. I have currently put about 150 rounds through the gun I have this trigger on and it has been incredible with every shot.

I have tried many triggers. Cmmg, trigger tech, and rise armament. This is by far my favorite brand of trigger. My rise armament was my favorite prior to this. There is zero creep with this trigger, and the reset is so short, it can surprise you if you're not prepared for it. Make sure you watch the videos on the install.

This trigger offers a great balance between performance and durability. The 4.5 pound pull is crisp and practical for duty or home defense. I used it during my last LE Patrol Rifle Qualification and it performed flawlessly. I would recommend watching various reviews from various YouTube reviews going over the tolerances and process to maximize its durability as they can provide better detail. For people looking for a quality duty grade drop in trigger, this is an excellent option.

I have tried practically every drop-in trigger out there, and the Blackout Defense trigger BY FAR has the best reset in my opinion. It's short, tactile, and fast, with a dead stop after cycling. Highly, highly recommend.
