The Franklin Armory BFSIII 22-C1 Trigger is a binary trigger system designed for .22LR firearms. Franklin Armory is known for its innovative firearm accessories, and the BFSIII 22-C1 is no exception. The term “BFSIII” stands for Binary Firing System III, indicating a trigger system that allows for semi-automatic fire as well as binary firing. In standard semi-automatic firearms, pulling these Rifle Triggers results in a single round being fired. However, binary triggers like the BFSIII 22-C1 introduce a unique firing mode. In binary mode, the firearm discharges a round not only when the trigger is pulled but also when it is released. This effectively doubles the rate of fire, making it a popular choice among firearm enthusiasts. It’s important to note that the BFSIII 22-C1 trigger is designed explicitly for .22LR caliber firearms. This means it is optimized for rifles chambered in .22LR, providing a unique shooting experience for users of such firearms. The .22LR caliber is often chosen for its lower recoil and cost-effectiveness, making it an excellent choice for training, plinking, and recreational shooting. The Franklin Armory BFSIII 22-C1 trigger offers a binary firing system for .22LR firearms, providing enthusiasts with a unique and enhanced shooting experience. As with any firearm accessory, responsible and lawful use is paramount, and users should be familiar with the applicable regulations in their area. No issues with install or operation thus far, installed in a Ruger takedown 22. Order was delivered timely. I find that the Franklin works better in the .22 than the AR platforms. I have experienced no jams or FTF’s.

Other than the verification time it actually came within a very speedy timeframe. Haven’t had time to put to use yet but can’t wait to see how it comes out. Will make sure to come back and give an update.

Over all satisfied with the product…. It was a bit difficult getting it to work but after messing with it i found the issue was the stock trigger reset spring. It was hanging up on the trigger housing little squeeze with some needle nose pliers and it’s working like a dream. The actual trigger is nice has a crisp reset smooth pull all the things you want from a $270 trigger. Only complaint is I’m burning through my .22 stockpile

Bottom line this trigger is money well spent, I haven’t put it into the rifle yet but the quality is to notch. Plus a .22 is just fun to shoot off a bunch of rounds so why not do it twice as fast? Money well spent for a lot of fun.

Thought this review might be helpful to people thinking about this product and confused by mixed reviews. After trigger arrived I installed it to Franklins directions, and some other you tube videos that gave me better angles on the install. Well the main trigger spring and plunger were all jacked up and were binding up when the trigger was depressed. Bummer. Definitely not going to function. So I called up Franklin and explained situation. Was told my ruger polymer trigger housing was probably out of spec, and my options were get a new one, or wait till Franklins own trigger housing hit the market….seriously? That was there solution. This didn’t make much sense to me, and without being an engineer or machinist I knew this was probably a common answer they were giving at the time as this relatively new product was rolled out and all the bugs were being worked out. Fast forward past a few more calls to Franklin, who I must say had great customer service the entire time, but was hesitant to really commit to helping me. Finally, they offered for me to send in the trigger and all parts and they would see what they could do. Fair enough. A couple months went by and I was starting to just sort of be over the whole situation, fully ready to accept the fact that I just spent $300 on a toy that just wasn’t going to amount to jack. Right as all hope was leaving the trigger showed back up in the mail, fully installed in my original trigger housing, dropped right in, and am pleased to say that after my first day shooting mag after mag without a hiccup I am fully satisfied. Franklin did a great job helping me in the end, and my only gripe was the hesitation to offer anything they could do right off the bat. Other than that, it’s a really fun trigger that works as advertised.
