I have a Max Long Range and the lightest I could adjust the stock trigger to was between 4-4.5 lbs. I never heard of Jard triggers till I found them on OP. The only products I found were spring kits and the Timney trigger. I’m not a fan of spring kits and the Timney product got mixed reviews with people having to trim their stock for it to install correctly. I was looking for something that was a true drop in and this Jard trigger is just that. My new trigger pull is right at 1.5 pounds. Exactly what I was wanting. I’m going to by another for another Xbolt I have in a different caliber.

I bought this trigger because it was available and Timney trigger was not. It also offered me an Optics Planet Bucks of $47, which was hard to believe. I guess that meant the trigger was damaged. It was. It arrived damaged. I did the best I could with it, because neither Optics Planet or JARD will accept it back. I had to eat away my Browning XBOLT Speed Stock like a hot beaver on a date to make that freaking JARD trigger fit in. It works and functions now, but neither Optics Planet or JARD cares if the rifle goes off unintentionally. The safety may come unhinged in the trigger housing, and even with the trigger adjusted and set properly, the sear action could go off. Someone would be blown away. Optics Planet and JARD don’t care. This is why Browning is so anal about there trigger housing sear action in all their rifles. I guess they have their reasons so someone won’t get blown away.
