Here’s what I’ll say. Some claim it needs to be shimmed, and what I say to that is your receiver is junk. I have it in two different AR’s and I’m about to put it in a third. It has a really crisp break, not ultra light but is light compared to other triggers. Where this trigger shines is in break,reset, break. If you get even halfway decent at riding the break you can really move some lead down range.

This is my second rise trigger and the value u get out of these triggers is fantastic, why spend 300$ on a trigger when you can get this one which feels better on the wallet and your finger. Dont waste the money on any other triggers. This trigger has a crisp clean pull and a short but functional reset. Regardless of if you want to plink at the range or defend yourself or your freedoms this is the trigger for you.

I liked this trigger so much I ended up getting 3 and maybe a 4th soon.Ive got it in a Ruger ar556,a double star star 15 and a radical AR pistol and none of them are gritty,the pull is almost as minimal as it gets and crisp.Didnt have to shim anything.I tried to put one in a radical AR in 762 and I think the lower was thicker than the usual lower so it wouldn't fit in the radical 762 AR-15 atleast not drop in but besides that I've had 0 problems and the only other trigger I've tried that has a shorter wall and reset is a much more expensive hiperfire eclipse 24 but they're very close in feel and operation.
