These fire control groups are precision-crafted and individually hand-polished to ensure complete quality control and a crisp and consistent trigger pull. As a bonus, this trigger group also includes a side retention plate that replaces the standard shepherd’s hook for the ultimate security in trigger pin retention. As such, replacing your rifle’s original trigger with the new Pioneer Arms premium trigger group will provide not only a smoother trigger pull but will also make this trigger group even more secure than the rifle’s original trigger. With its crisp break and enhanced re-set, this premium-grade trigger group will not only increase the value of your firearm but will also provide a more pleasurable shooting experience when installed in virtually any new or existing AK platform rifle or pistol on the market today. Each trigger group consists of the hammer, trigger, disconnector, small disconnector spring, and the retention plate. This trigger counts as three 922r compliance parts. Note: This trigger group consists of the hammer and trigger components only and will utilize your existing braided wire hammer cable spring. The price tag sure doesn't match the hype in the description, but I decided to take a chance and order it to see what it's all about. The first thing I noticed was that there's nothing hand polished about it at all. The casting seams are still visible and the engagement surfaces are definitely not "hand polished". They may have done a quick onceover before applying the coating, but the trigger pull is still pretty gritty and it's far from the "crisp break" they promise in the description. It will definitely need some work if you want it smooth and crisp, and you would also have to smooth off the casting seam on the hammer face so it won't leave marks on your BCG. The $25 Romanian triggers are actually much better out of the box, and probably more durable as well.Pioneer Arms calls it their "premium trigger", which really makes me wonder what their standard trigger is like. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't hesitate to call their description false advertising. Overall, this is just another cheap aftermarket trigger and there's nothing "precision crafted", "hand polished" or "premium grade" about it at all.
