This trigger is an easy upgrade. Trigger is one of the first mods that should be made to an AR and the POF trigger is fantastic. Simply remove the old trigger and just drop this one in. It's that simple! The trigger is light and very quick. It works perfectly and the price can't be beat. Accuracy is greatly improved. Double taps are a breeze and accurate. Virtually no take up in the trigger and reset is crisp. Highly recommend.

I only give this 4 stars for the lack of configuration options. Meaning if you want 3.5lbs it had top be a straight trigger or if you want curved it has to be 4.5lbs. I would prefer a 3.5 lb curved.I have this trigger in one ar 15 and in an Aero M5E1 ar10. Both work great. I have also recommended this to two others who both love the upgrade. It's not the best trigger ever but if your looking to upgrade a mil spec trigger this is hard to beat. Im tempted to try something new in my latest build but will most likely come back to this ad I know what im getting for my money. You can spend allot of time and money trying different triggers until you find your favourite or just go with something you know will be good.

Put in 3 AR15 carbines, Anderson .556, Anderson .556, S&W MP .556. Put one in Anderson .556 pistol and one in a Windom .308 Rifle. Improved accuracy in all a lot. The .308 is now more accurate than my vaulted long range Ruger Precision Bolt in .308. Easy and fast install for anyone but an idiot. The only problem encountered was using with a previously reliable CMC .22lr conversion bolt in a carbine. 3-5 ftf from light strikes on the rimfire primers. Would work fine in a hunting, target or some law enforcement applications shooting .223/5.56mm with a clean rifle but in combat rifles they get dirty (especially with Russian ammo) and grime tends to slow the hammer striking lighter on the primer. Don't trust it for that application.

I've had this trigger in 3 of my rifles for years! I also have RA drop ins, and the POF is superior! Absolutely crisp break, short travel, quick reset, & 100% consistent. Never had an issue, trigger performance never changed after 1000 rounds! All of this, is why I have multiple POF triggers!

I have been a Timney trigger fan, have installed them in many of my builds. They are a great trigger.I had a gunsmith friend of mine suggest I try the POF trigger. I got one. I now have 3 POF triggers. The trigger is clean and crisp. It might not be better than the Timney, but it is easier to install, works just as well and costs less. 3 strong pluses. I like quality, and functionality and like saving money. The POF trigger gives me all 3.

I received my trigger a couple days ago but had work I had to do before I could play with it. Last night I had the time to install it and it was easy to install (I am a new guy to AR's only been playing with them for a few years). I had a problem that stopped me in my tracks. The final step is you have to use 2 T-7 Torx Mini wrenches at one time (One on each side) and without them everything just hung loose and there was a danger of loosing the top pin. I had to use a nylon wire tie to secure it so I would not loose the parts and this morning make the 20+ mile drive to Home Depot and was lucky to find a couple of sets of them. I have a few of those that have came with scope rings and brass catchers. Its sad that 30$ scope rings and 30$ brass catchers have what you need included but not 159$ drop in triggers. The package does not tell you thats its needed either. If you are a gun expert I am sure you have it but if you are a newer guy this review is a heads up so you can be getting what you need while waiting for the trigger to arrive. I have 2 tool sets I purchased from Brownells with 50$ bits for gun work and it was not in their either, there were some but not small enough to fit.I did put 10 rounds down range with it today and its much different to what I am used to but I think I like it, if it works out for me I will be buying a few more for my other 4 AR's I have.
