This trigger is great. You can fool yourself into thinking you need a better one, but the truth is this is likely more than you will ever need. It’s smooth, you can switch out the springs and it’s easy to install. I made zero adjustments to mine installing in a long range .308 AR10. I have no walk on my shots. I’ve used trigger assemblies that cost two or three times as much but truth to tell you won’t notice the difference until you’re putting rounds beyond 1,000 yards.

Like the title of the review says this particular trigger is indeed Way better than the standard milspec AR trigger and it is better priced than the BCM or ALG triggers of comparable quality..hard to catch them in stock but it's worth grabbing a few when you do.

Your basic average mill spec trigger about 6 pounds above grade on your standard A.R. 15 build not many options right now for economic build so I went with this option but if you’re looking for more of a competitive trigger go with something a little more high end

Spikes parts have been consistently good for over 9 years in my experience. I first became a customer of theirs in 2012 and they were backordered back then but still held up quality. It is good to see a company that has grown due to their offerings and stance on quality, fit & finish. The fact that this trigger set is a good price is just icing on the cake.

If you just need a cheap standard trigger this is it. It feels like a regular trigger and seems well made. The only thing they could have added would be a instruction book on assembly. If you are testing builds or just want mil spec you can't go wrong with this.

Out of 20 different builds with at least half as many different trigger groups this is without a doubt the worst one. Noticeable take-up, rough stacking creep with 8lb's to break. Long over-travel followed by a slow reset. Really a let down after hearing spike's was supposedly a good one to try. Especially since OP took over a month to ship it. Also I do not use any drop in triggers so this comparison is to other mil spec groups. The pins are weird too. One has a single groove at one end. The other a single groove in the middle. It would be nice to find out if this is just one that shouldn't have left the factory. After waiting so long and the fact if sent a replacement I'm sure I'd be stuck with the shipping. I'll call it a loss and stear clear of spike's. Not only the worst trigger group but the worst purchase experience I've had in years.
