Comes with a factory 4 pound pull, this trigger can be installed in minutes without any gunsmithing, fitting or adjustment required. The trigger makes use of your rifle’s original hammer/trigger pins, due to its proprietary design the trigger eliminates pin rotation and walkout. The solid, straight design of the trigger shoe is great for competitive events, helping the shooter pull the trigger straight back to the rear without influencing the rifle’s alignment with the target. The housing is machined from lightweight 6061 T6 alloy which is anodized for superior durability. The hammer is EDM machined from S7 tool steel and features a Nickel coating which helps deliver the exceptionally smooth, crisp single-stage pull. The other components of the trigger are EDM cut from A2 tool steel, then heat treated to Rc 56-60. Pull weight is factory set at 4lbs., not adjustable. Trigger is everything that the other reviews say. Night and day difference over the junk DPMS factory trigger. Very easy to install, takes maybe 10 minutes. (I have never replaced or removed a trigger) I have not had a chance to try it at the range yet, but would expect more constistant groups. DPMS AP4 AR10, with a 3×9 leupold scope.

Priced these everywhere else and optics had them $30 cheaper here on average. Comes in timney packaging and everything. Love it and recommend buying anything you need here. My only problem with optics planet is their lag in showing things purchased and processed on your account with them. I purchased something 4 days ago and I’m not sure if it went through yet or not. Other then that, stick with them!

This is the absolute first thing I do to all of my weapons, but in an Ar it is just perfect. There is no understating how great these triggers are. Zero creep, zero over travel, crisp and clean break, zero play or rattle, and the fit and finish installed is exceptional. The safety is so precise and tight tolerance you won’t believe it. Even an idiot can install it in under 5 minutes.

This drop in trigger is very easy to install, comes with very good instructions, includes everything you need, and is a huge upgrade over the factory trigger I had. Took it shooting the next weekend and went through several dozen rounds with no issues and my gun just felt smoother becasue of the trigger. Would say the trigger is worth the price for sure!

I absolutely love this trigger. I am fond of the flat shoe style for precision shooting. That being said, I really dislike the set screw arrangement for retaining the trigger pins in place. I believe capture springs or dedicated pins with external clips would be a preferable method for pin retention which is why I'm rating this at four stars. Still, this is probably the best trigger set up for the AR-10 platform since it has a much wider and heavier hammer than the typical AR-15 style triggers on the market. I have not had any light primer strikes with this trigger.

I have installed an awful lot of triggers in my 50 years, some good some bad. You will hear an awful lot of hype about certain trigger manufacturers and Newfangled technology. I have tried them all. Some work well, some don’t work at all and some aren’t worth the hype. One thing I can tell you without reservation is that Timney delivers on promises, creates an exceptional and reliable product and will not disappoint.
