I looked at all the aftermarket triggers out there and there are many that are equally good. But since all my triggers for all my rifle are Timney, I might as well try this one out. The trigger assembly or housing is very easy to install, priced reasonably well, and Timney customer service support is outstanding. I really like that you can change the trigger shoes. I love how you can adjust the trigger according to your style of shooting. Also remember, this are mass produced triggers, and once in a while you might get a defective unit, but no worries Timney will help you out, just simply call…

Really high quality, absolutely no fitment issues in my Magnum research Switchbolt, the magazine release is excellent and an appreciated extra value. Absolutely crisp break at 3.25 pounds, would prefer some adjustability but really hard to beat for a semi-auto if planning to shoot quickly in an action event. The trigger shoe choices also lend to the overall high quality and value of this trigger.

Nice trigger, very good fit and finish. The pull is light but not adjustable by the user. I had to send mine back to Timney because it was releasing the hammer on trigger reset, which caused it to act like a “binary” trigger. The magazine release is designed to be optimal for traditional stocks and gets in the way of pistol grip stocks, but Timney does make a short throw lever replacement. The trigger shoe is unique and helps the user adjust trigger position optimal for their grip and trigger finger length.

After a lot of research, I bought this to replace the binary trigger in my custom Charger build that just never quite worked right. It's fantastic! Good fitment, great trigger pull, reliable function. Couldn't ask for more!

The trigger is extremely light (about 2.5 pounds) and breaks clean with no take up. However, after about 100 rounds I ran into serious problems. The trigger turned into a single shot and would not reset unless manually pushed forward. I completely took it apart and put it back together in hopes of cleaning it up but it was barely even dirty. It worked great for another 100 rounds and the reset locked up again. I emailed Timney several times with no response. I made a huge investment into a .22 trigger with no help after it didn't work so I took it into my own hands and started polishing. I haven't been able to test the reliability 100% yet but for the price I paid for this trigger and the poor performance it was a huge disappointment. This thing should be a gem right out of the box and, unlike the two AR triggers I have from Timney, it was completely unreliable.

A whole lot of money for a 100% non-adjustable trigger. Heavy with lots of creep. If you have any experience with really good triggers your gonna be dissatisfied. I guess Timney figures 10/22 shooters are dummies.
