I've now put this trigger on two rifles. One PRS rifle and one 300 PRC. I'm surprised this trigger doesn't get more attention. The break is extremely clean, it can go super light if you want with a great range of pull weight, and overtravel is non-existent. The only thing that kinda stinks is that you have to pull your barreled action to adjust, but if you get it where you want it before installing the barreled action you're good to go. In a chassis system it's no big deal pulling it out real quick anyway. Considering you can catch this thing on sale for the price you can, it's a no brainer.

Bought this to hook up to an ARC Nucleus action. It is clearly the best trigger that I've ever owned or purchased. It's just beautifully executed.Would I recommend it? Yes…sort of. As I said, I put mine on a Nucleus action. This assembly is my Gucci bolt gun build. Other than maybe a hard core PRC competitor or some serious paid operator, nobody NEEDS a $200 dollar trigger. This trigger won't kill you one more deer than a good stock Remington, which I could have gotten off ebay for maybe $30 bucks. I've got $2000+ bucks in a custom rifle, that MAYBE groups 1/8"in. better at 100 yards, than my bone stock mid 90's Savage (pre Accu-Trigger) in the same caliber. I think I gave $500 for it. $1500+ for an 1/8"in. Worth it?So, if you want a Gucci build, are a government employee, or a serious competitor, I'd recommend it. If not, keep your factory trigger on your factory action with your factory barrel, and know this trigger offers you no real advantage in any typical situation. Your factory setup is MUCH more than adequate.

Lots of play at the trigger blade side to side. Safety actuation is gritty. Loose-fitting in well known custom action. Mine was so bad I sent it in to Timney and they told it's all in spec. Next to my TriggerTech Special (which has very little play at the trigger, the safety actuation is extremely smooth and positive, and it fits snug in the action) this Timney feels cheap. What's worse, you can't buy this without the old school bolt stop. Common… nobody uses this trigger with anything but a custom action and all custom actions these days use a side bolt release negating the need for the old school Remington lower bolt release that nobody likes or wants.

I purchased the Timney HIT trigger for a pair of my Remington 700 rifles. The trigger came in excellent packaging with easy to understand instructions. The company also offers a short YouTube video to help with installation. I found it very easy to follow and insulation took me 10-15 minutes. Using a Lee digital trigger weight pull gauge, I found that the lightest I could safely get the original factory triggers was 3 1/2 pounds. I also tested the full adjustment range of the HIT trigger and found the specs of .5 – 2 pounds accurate. I settled on 11/2 pounds for my ideal trigger weight. Adjustment for the trigger weight is simple using a Hex wrench. You can also adjust the over- travel. I am completely satisfied with the results of this purchase. Timney is a 1st class company who has been around for a long time. I trust their products and I'm very happy with the results. Would I recommend this product to anyone? Absolutely!

I ordered trigger to install on my Bergara B-14R 22lr. I ordered the model with the straight trigger. It was a simple install, it took about 10 minutes. The trigger came set at 8oz according to my scale. I did several safety checks to make sure it wouldn't go off when it wasn't supposed to. This may not be a recommended trigger for my model Bergara but it worked for me. I've shot several hundred rounds without a problem. It made the rifle a dream to shoot. I would not use it for hunting unless the weight is turned up!

I purchased this to install in a Bergara B14R (22LR). I had to remove 2 E clips on the left side of the trigger, then remove the bolt release and reinstall the E clips so it would work in the Bergara. It has no pretravel or creep, a crisp break and minimal overtravel. I have it set as low as I could get it to go and it still passes a bump test. Consistent 6 ounces on a Lyman digital gauge. I liked it so much in the 22 I bought another one for my .308.
