The Timney Rem 783 trigger is a big improvement over the stock trigger. It is not as good as their Model 7 or Model 700 triggers. The 783 trigger is not as crisp nor breaks as cleanly as those. Still it is a good trigger and a better option than the stock trigger. Whenever I squeezed the stock tigger, I could hear a spring being compressed. Annoying, but the trigger worked. The switched to the Timney is good upgrade.
