An excellent trigger that is easy to install and easy to adjust.I have 3 of them on my rifles and all are perfect. The only thing you might have to do is make some minor stock clearance adjustments when installing.

I am very satisfied with the purchase of the Timney trigger for the Remington Model 788. The trigger is an exact machined fit for the rifle making installation into the rifle framework both extremely easy and fast. The action of the trigger when firing the rifle is soft and very smooth. This allows the shooter the confidence to make a perfect score whether it be on a target or a game animal of their choice. Thanks to OpticsPlanet for offering a quality and inexpensive trigger mechanism.

The Timney trigger slipped right into place and only required a slight stock modification. The package it was shipped in was a padded envelope and weighed nothing, shipping was free but shipping it by USPS would have probably cut many days off of the delivery. According to the tracking info. it wound up in the USPS office anyway for the last two days.

Third trigger in a row, I have people at different gun ranges ask me about what trigger do I use in my long range rifle. I offer them the opportunity to shoot mine, and each time they raise their head's with a smile. Then I tell them it's a Timney Calvin elite. They are all impressed three friends have bought them in as many weeks. This last one I installed for a friend in his Remington 788 a little in letting on the safety side and dropped in and works perfectly and smooth.

Bought this trigger to replace my factory trigger on a Rem. 22-250, replacement was easy and the adjustable trigger setting is very easy to set, had to trim out a little on the stock but was minimal. Overall I am very pleased with this trigger

This is a vast improvement over the stock trigger. Even light pull. Note however some modification of the stock is necessary and it took me a while to figure out where. Light sanding on the right side gave the safety room to move freely, but it would still bind when I put it in the stock. Turns out there is a throw out pin on the left side of the trigger that was impinging on the stock. You can feel it with your finger when actuating the safety with the trigger out of the stock. An 1/8" dimple on the left side and everything worked great. Hope that helps someone else.
