This item arrived and was put right to use. Trigger was easy to install in my Savage 110 (pre accutrigger) and easy to set-up. First trigger change of any kind. Took to the range for some testing and amazed by how much difference there was between the two. Tighter groups compared to factory trigger, which was very difficult to pull. Great deal at the sale price, easy to install and set-up and seems to be great quality so far.

Leaps and bounds ahead if the factory Savage trigger (non-accutrigger). It does take some patience and fine motor skills to get adjusted. It may or may not be able to be safely adjusted to mere ounces as advertised due to varying tolerance of the factor sear. I was able to get it down to about 1.5 lbs and still pass the "slam test" closing the bolt. A good gunsmith and a set of quality soapstones could do even better. Overall it is a definate improvement over factory trigger but still not as good as SSS – but at least Timney can actually be found in stock.

This trigger dropped right into tje rifle i had and instantly upgraded tje shootability of the gun. I was considering buying a new, better rifle, but was able to keep this one and acheive what I wanted while keeping the sentimental value. Great product.

First off, the Acutrigger is a crisp, safe and reliable trigger. I do not like the safety shoe in the middle of the Acutrigger. This Timney is a great option and is very adjustable. The adjustable part is where it gets tricky. Once you look at the acutrigger, you understand why it has a safety block. There is very little material touching at the sear engagement point. This Timney requires VERY minute adjustments to get it with little creep, light pull, easy movement in the safety and not go off unexpectedly. I had to re-adjust mine twice before feeling safe to operate it without a slam fire or firing pin going off just by moving the safety from position 2 to fire. I got mine set to 1.75# on a Savage Stealth Evolution in .338 Lapua Magnum. Watch the videos, read forums, and be informed of the safety issues with this trigger. It does work and work well if installed and adjusted properly.

Easy install, BTW should you buy a savage rifle check the trigger pin. Mine was missing the C-clip that holds the pin in place. It allowed the pin to move and the symptom was a very light trigger pull until the pin moved enough to “lock” the trigger. I’ve sent a email to Savage but they haven’t responded after 3 weeks. Glad Timney has the for site to include a new C-clip THANKS TIMNEY!!
