I never did like the trigger in my Weatherby Vanguard so I finally bought the Timney. Installation was a 15 minute job, very easy. Timney is a crisp 3 lb. trigger with no perceptual creep. Very happy with the results.

I just finished the install of the Timney trigger for my wife’s Weatherby Vanguard Camilla in 6.5 Creedmore. The install was easier than my AR. Two bolts hold the stock to the action. The bottom metal dropped out easily followed by the magazine box. The stock was snug but took little effort to remove. It was nice to know the bolts are directly into the action and not pillars in the stock only. The stock trigger is removed with a T-25 torx driver and removes in one piece. The Timney trigger installs in one piece as well. The rifle reassembled as easily as the take down. I did wipe a lot of shipping oil out of the magazine and bottom metal to keep dirt out of it. The stock trigger pulls at just over 3.5 pounds. This Timney trigger pulls right at 2 pounds. This trigger has zero creep and breaks like a pane of glass with very little over travel. This was the best upgrade I’ve done so far to her rifle.

Best after market triggers for Howa 1500 hands down! If you’re looking for a clean break with no slack in your trigger, you will love the Timney. Comes set at about a 3 pound pull, but can be adjusted easily down to a 1.5 pound pull weight. Simple to install!

Original Weatherby / Howa trigger is sub par in many ways.This timney tigger is very nice, it’s adjustable.Adjust trigger pull before installing barrel into stock, cannot adjust once installed in stockYOU MAY HAVE TO REMOVE SOME STOCK MATERIAL FOR TRIGGER TO OPERERATE PROPERLYI HAD TO ITS VERY EASY, AND ALEX AT TIMNEY WAS VERY HELPFUL.
