The Centennial Defense Systems Trigger Assembly is designed to be an upgrade from the Glock OEM trigger assembly by using a polished stainless steel trigger bar. The polished steel results in less friction and a smoother trigger pull. These assemblies are drop in units that do not require any fitting. I got this for a PF80 Glock 17 build. The trigger itself looks good and has a good feel to it.When I installed it, however, it would not catch about every 5 or 6 slide racks. The trigger wouldn’t return to firing position. I stripped the gun down and polished the surfaces that usually cause this to happen. Didn’t matter. Didn’t change anything. So I switched this trigger onto an OEM arm that I had and now it works perfectly.

I bought the Gold Gen 1-4 trigger for my Glock 26. After installing the trigger would not reset reliably. In examining the trigger bar I found that the Centennial Defense trigger bar was longer on the top face where the Striker bar engages to reset the trigger, and it could not properly grab the bar to slide it forward. I swapped the trigger bar from my other trigger, and that solved the issue.

Ordered this for a P80 Glock 19 Build. Bar would engage sear on initial slide rack however after trigger pull would not reset. Comparing the bar to an OEM bar showed this bar had a bend that held it lower thus not engaging the sear correctly. Switched trigger shoe to the OEM bar and now functions fine. It would seem, since other review states same issue, that there is a problem with the bars. If you purchasing for the color of the shoe make sure you have an extra bar just in case.
