The Hipertouch EDT3 Fire-Control Group drop-in is a high Performance, high precision, service rifle upgrade and recommended for AR-15 and AR-10 type rifles. The Hipertouch name is short for HIgh Performance TOUCH and EDT for Enhanced Duty Trigger. The EDT3 features a duplex, or two-position trigger bow. Place the finger high in the curve and the pull weight is approximately 5 or 6 lbs with the supplied red hammer spring installed. Or, with the finger riding low on the vertical tip, the weight is approximately 4 or 5 lbs. when the supplied green hammer spring is installed. This trigger is directed to DMR use. Run the finger high in tactical situations, or run it low in longer range precision scenarios. It’s also appropriate for home defense and hunting applications as the trigger weight is higher than the 24 series triggers. It’s the “AR” Fire-Control Group upgrade we’ve all dreamed of. For installation and operational features of the Hipertouch EDT3 watch the videos in the playlist above. A helpful read of the FCG Trouble Shooting Guide relates some issues customers will have during and after installation that are easily resolved with attention to detail and common sense. Hipertouch FCGs may not work in lowers with FCG holes that are outside MIL-Spec toleranced dimensions. I’ve used several Hiperfire triggers, ranging in price from $75 to $300 and all have been great, as well as their customer service. Why I like about this one in particular is the feel of the trigger shoe itself. The reviews don’t do it justice. The feel of the flat and the curve together giving you the option in pull weight by the fulcrum of where you place your finger is awesome. My finger easily finds the sweet spot on the shoe and the break is smooth, with very little creep. Compared to my ALG triggers, this is slightly more consistent in the pull and strikes harder, based on the geometry of the hammer system.

It is better than milspec, no slop, short travel, cycles bulk Berdan primed Russian Ammo so far flawlessly. (…they can be hard to light with some triggers – I test reliability with the 7.62×39 upper.) It isn't particularly light when pulled in the trigger bow (curve). As I understand it, the stated pull rating is measured at the tip of the trigger giving more leverage. Yea, lighter than milspec but not featherweight by any means and they don't suggest it is. A little disappointed in the feel of the pull from the trigger bow, still a good trigger.

If you're looking to replace an out of the box factory trigger you will be happy with this trigger group. However, don't buy it expecting to get the same difference as $200-$300 trigger groups because this product isnt what youre looking for. This is a reasonably priced product that gives noticable improvement over mil-spec and if that's what you're looking for then this is the trigger group for you.

Best trigger options for the money. And, to adjust pull weight all you have to do is adjust finger placement. Works absolutely PERFECT for me – Multi caliber lower donning 556 or 458 upper! Pulling low on the bow for the 556 and high for the 458… I haven't found a better comb for the money yet!
