I had used a different aftermarket trigger designed for exclusively steel case ammo. It was also $70 more expensive. This trigger totally fixed any failure to fire, this included Tula, Wolf and Max Extreme. I wish I had bought it earlier

I’ve made builds with ALG ACT triggers, Larue Tactical 2 stage triggers and now these Hiperfire EDT Heavy Gunner triggers. ALG is a great “better than Mil-Spec”. Larue is a sweet two stage for where we that fits into your builds. But these EDT triggers are just easy, reliable, crisp breaking with a crisp reset and I can count on a hard swinging hammer every time. Easy to install and I like the taper pins they include. Only downside is if you have to deal with Hiperfire’s customer service…it’s almost non existent and takes weeks for a one sentence reply, so there’s that. ALG and Larue beat their customer service hands down, hence the lower star rating. However, for a great trigger and a reliable product…these are a great pick!

Its a pretty decent trigger for $90. Installation is easy enough with the dowels that are included. The Trigger pull is definitely better then mil spec. I run this TCG with the 4.5 pound spring and have had zero issues. The feedback is very nice. Its a very predictable trigger once you shoot a few rounds through it and get a feel for it. The break is nice and crisp and the reset has a very satisfying loud "clack" and positive feel to it. Ive had zero light strikes with this TCG, even on 30 year old surplus 7.62×51 NATO.I originally put this TCG in an AR10 i was trying to cobble together for as cheap as possible for long distance shooting. The one complaint i have, which honestly isnt even that much of a gripe to begin, is the creep. Its not earth shatteringly bad, or disappointingly mushy. Its just there, and i believe its there by design. Im gonna try to describe it as best as i can in a way that would make our lord and saviour, Garand Thumb smile….yes….thats right. We are gonna ghost that trigger together. Put your finger over mine and put on a little unchained melody. There is zero play, a little bit of creep, maybe 2-3 millimeters of creep*click* Its not mushy creep. Its a very predictable hard break at the end of that creep too. Feel that reset*clack* About 1-2 millimeters on the reset and its a very positive feel.*click* Yeah thats about a 4.5-5 lb trigger pull. Its pretty good.Okay im done. I swear. This TCG gets the job done just fine, i just wanted a trigger with little to no creep. So i went and swapped this trigger into my AR15 duty rifle and thats were it will stay. It works fantastic in that rifle as well. No light strikes still. The creep that annoyed me in the Ar10 is almost welcomed in the duty rifle. Again, super predictable trigger pulls and resets. Very nice trigger feel.It seems just at home in service or duty rifles and is definitely a fantastic and affordable option over a mil spec trigger. It definitely isnt a geissele trigger. But for $90 you'd be hard pressed to find a better trigger around that price point in my opinion.

So, i swapped out my laser trainer for some super sonic ammo.I love the break on the first shot or shots from the bag, but this is a pistol and I have been training in standing position. The multiple shot drills had me rolling into a surprise shot at the end of my 3 and 5 shot bursts- semi auto- I let my gunsmith know and we swapped for the heavier spring. (Included) Until I work on my trigger discipline, the heavier spring has cured that concern. Works with standard pins. No strike failures in 1000s of reps.

I truly enjoy my Hyperfire Enhanced duty triggers, have them installed in both AR10 and AR15 rifles. Easy to install, the exact purpose of a drop in triggee. The reason i like these if you ever have to change parts its simple. Most drop in triggers have covering and if you have to replace parts its alot of work. The different springs will determine your trigger pull.

I have a KS-47 now years in the making due to parts missing and finally got to shoot it. It would shoot so had about every 7 or so not fire. Replaced with titanium firing pin and that went up to about 9-12 with hard primer issue. So read around and found this particular one pop up often in forums and reviews to be seemingly used on many 7.62×39 builds. Conveniently we all had same issue being hard primers messing up our range fun. Well that has ended with this installed, I will say have a few firing pins stored in hand grip in case pin dulls. Even titanium likely will dull over time creating other issue.
