Hiperfire adjustable safety selectors provide numerous installation options for AKs, rifles, and carbines with selectable fire modes. You can place the safety selector in the safe or fire position by turning the knob to the desired location. The safety itself can be moved to a locked or semi-lock position by simply moving the lever to the locked or semi-lock position and pushing the lever up. The lock bar will prevent accidental fires, and enable you to lock the bolt back with an adjustable wrench, hammer or screwdriver. Fits AK-47 and AK-74 only. Quick and easy install, use some loctite on the set screw. Love the extra paddle to operate safety. I bent it some to loosen The retention, one finger operation now.

Installed this on my Zpap M70 and it worked out great. I also have an aftermarket ALG trigger. The trigger needed the roll pin installed to work with my original safety. So for this install of the hyperfire I had to remove that roll pin. This is where the setup screw from hiperfire comes into play. I started out with the screw fully seated then slow undid it (making it longer) until it made contact with the trigger body. Screw also has good loctite on it. I don’t see this thing walking off which was part of my concern. Also the right angle finger ledge is far more better than other selector’s designs where the finger ledge slopes down at an angle.

I personally don’t care for the bolt hold open on the Zastava platform so this was a nice feature. It is fairly smooth and easy to use with the ledge. The finish makes the safety stand out a little bit more. I didn’t have to bend it at all; it was already smooth out of the box. Good part for sure.
