Replaced the Accu Trigger in my Savage MarkII FXP rifle to reduce the trigger pull weight. Installed easily & seemed to work fine on the bench. When I got to the range and tried to chamber a round, the rifle dry fired upon closing the bolt. This happened several times. Upon removing the barrel from the stock and closely inspecting the trigger, it was apparent the notch on the trigger wasn’t deep enough to adequately engage the seer.I am attempting to use a diamond hone to slightly increase the depth of the trigger notch, but this should not be necessary if the trigger was correctly machined by Rifle Basiks.

This trigger was super easy to change out for me with no gunsmithing knowledge at all. It was also easy to adjust. It is now set at a crisp breaking 1 1/4 lbs and I can't wait to get to the range and see if I can tighten up my groups. I dropped 1 1/2 lbs of pull weight and lost any cream I may have had. Took about 10 minus to install.
