The TriggerTech Remington 700 Primary Trigger is the ideal upgrade to improve accuracy and precision on any right-handed Remington 700 model rifle. Featuring the innovative Frictionless Release Technology, these drop-in Bolt Action Rifle Triggers from Triggertech provide a true zero-creep break, extremely short over-travel and offers outstanding reliability, even in the harshest environments. Utilizing CLKR Technology, the pull weight of this TriggerTech R700 Primary Trigger is quickly and confidently adjusted from 1.5 – 4.0 lbs in 1oz increments from an externally accessible set screw. Due to the exceptionally crisp break, most shooters report the pull weights feeling approx. 0.5lbs lighter than a friction based trigger of the same measured pull weight. Frictionless Release Technology, along with hardened 440C stainless steel internal components ensure corrosion resistance and an extended service life. As Frictionless Release Technology does not rely on coating, polishing or lubricating the key engagement surfaces, trigger pulls of this TriggerTech Rem 700 Primary Rifle Trigger will be more consistent from shot to shot and after thousands of shots than you ever thought possible. All pull weights and measurements are approximate. Pull weights of TriggerTech Triggers are directly impacted by firing pin spring weight. Overweight firing pin springs may cause pulls weights to vary above the advertised range. I got this trigger to replace the crappy xmark trigger on a newer remington 700 243. It made it a lot easier to shoot accuractly. Easy to install, easy to adjust. Overall a great trigger, no complaints. For the money, it would be hard to beat.

I have tried a few different triggers and I bought this one to go on a build. I put it on my rem 700 just to try and wow. Zero and I mean zero creep. Very crisp and extremely easy to adjust. I went ahead and ordered a second so I had one for my build and for my rem 700. The primary and special are identical besides being able to go down a little less weight on the special. You will not be disappointed. As always Optics Planet has too notch service and fast delivery

Love it! Running on a custom 308 bolt. A little to get used to the flat trigger over curved, absolutely zero creep in the trigger! Trigger itself is a little slippery but I will fix that myself no issues or complaints as many maybe used to that style.

Love this trigger. Dropped right into my Bergara b14hmr and was a great trigger. great packaging and really nice look to the trigger. I used it for a while but found I wanted to go lighter so I bought the diamond by trigger tech. the primary is very good for the money and for someone wanting a nice trigger but not something super light.

This trigger is a fantastic upgrade for a Remington 700. It is not an amateur gunsmith job to install it, yet also not extremely difficult. You must be careful not to damage the bolt release spring as it can get deformed rather easily. Also pay attention to the instructions to drift the pins to the proper sides and not to overdrift them. My only complaint with this trigger is that the bolt release bracket along the side of the trigger housing is much thinner and more flimsy than the factory one. As a result, the bolt release on the Triggertech feels cheap and does not operate nearly as smoothly as the factory original – it is something I am willing to get used to being different, though, because the trigger itself is phenomenal. This trigger will make your 700 feel like a custom. It is light, crisp, and a very noticeable improvement in both feel and accuracy over the factory trigger. I used to think 700 triggers were good until I installed this one. 😀

You need to be comfortable bending metal tabs on the bolt release. Highly frustrating. I called the guys at TT and they are aware of how much of a pain the process was. They were accommodating and patient. They basically told me to keep going, you will get it. My gripe is this: if it is a known issue with the remmington 700, they should have videos and other resources to walk you through the process. I did get the bolt release to funtion. I had to walk away a few times. But did get it. The trigger feels nice. I feel like i could do it again knowing what i know now.
