When I purchased my Colt M-4 Carbine some years back, the first thing I wanted to do is change the trigger. The original one felt almost like it had sand in it and I wanted something smooth. Well, I chose the SSA. It has a slight spring like initial pull until your finger stops and a little more pressure causes it to snap, so smooth. I wondered why they don't just put Geissele SSA triggers in it from the start. I am so glad I made the choice I did. I let others fire my weapon and they agreed, it's perfect.

Replaced standard mil spec in my Colt M4. Exactly what I was looking for. Not too squirrely for a carry/ defense gun yet it’s clean crisp and light enough for bench shooting accuracy. Mine is coming in as the advertised 4.5 lbs. The 2 stage trigger is like an old friend as I’ve carried Glocks for 30 years. Again an asset when bench shooting. I honestly never gave much thought to my patrol rifle triggers – cannot imagine going back to a mil spec. Perfect all around trigger in my book. Worth the price.

I bought this trigger around June of 2021, used it quite a bit, and all I can say is wow, what a huge difference from a mil spec trigger. The two stages of the trigger really help with getting a good accurate shot. A mil spec trigger is very heavy, which could be a good thing for some people, it would be much harder to have a negligent discharge with a mil spec trigger than this trigger. That being said you should train and get very used to this trigger, because it’s very light of a trigger pull. That said buy this trigger and never look back.

This trigger is smooth, and the 2 stage is perfect for an AR platform. The OEM trigger was so heavy and not good at all. I would highly recommend this 2 stage trigger. This trigger is unbelievable as you after shoot with it.

i thought i wouldnt notice a difference from my lwrc milspec triggerwas differently wrong preferred it over my buddies ssa-e for a fighting carbine application though he does use his lowe for both a 16 in and a 20in that he uses for the long touch

The SSA is my preferred choice in AR triggers. Although I use my AR primarily as a range gun, I also employ it as a home defense gun. The SSA allows for stressful situations, but is light enough to be very accurate at the range. It's a significant upgrade over a mil-spec trigger, but not light enough to be accidentally engaged when under stress. The SSAE is awesome if your primary use is at the range, but it's a bit light for anything else in my opinion.
