Excellent trigger.Easy install. Watch the E-clip on install pin the little sucker will fly off on you. Adjusts for all needed tweaking smooth pull. Ease of installation makes it worth price. Beats the more exspensive timney

This is a Great replacement trigger. The factory savage axis trigger has much to be desired. Though the design is simple, it is an improvment over factory. Its easy to install, and adjust to lower weight pull. I would purchase again.

I am an avid shooter and have bought many aftermarket triggers from some of the most well known names in the business! I decided to try this one after a good friend of mine also a gun smith said that Rifle Basix makes great stuff. Well now that I have it and have been using it I couldn't agree more! I spent almost 3 times the amount on a trigger for my Weatherby that does the exact same thing this trigger does but the biggest difference is it's not adjustable where the Rifle Basix trigger is and for a lot less $$$! I would highly recomend this trigger to anyone who wants a light, crisp trigger for their Savage without breaking the bank!

This is the 3rd Sav-1 trigger I have purchased from Optics Planet. I installed all 3 by myself following the instructions included with the product. Pretty easy to install and the resulting improvement in trigger pull and creep is amazing.

Purchased this SAV-1 from Rifle Basix to go in a new Savage 110 with the Accu-Stock. Many think the factory Accu-Trigger is a good one but I can't stand the blade in the middle of it and after doing some research this is the only replacement trigger I found that said it would work with the Accu-Stock system. I'd like to take off 1/2 a star because the instructions included with the trigger were for a different model entirely but I was able to find the correct instructions on the Rifle Basix website. Installing the trigger is very strait forward and in about 30 min I had it installed and adjusted to my liking. One the greatest features about this trigger is how easy it was to adjust sear engagement, pull weight and overtravel. After installing it before making any pull weight adjustment I checked it with my trigger pull scale and found it was pulling at 8 oz. Too light for hunting but someone doing bench rest shooting would probably love it. I slowly adjusted it up to 2.5 lb and over 10 test pulls it never varied more than 0.10 lb which is fantastic. I highly recommend this trigger to anyone wanting a replacement for the Savage 110!

My Savage 16 trigger was a non adjustable 6 lbs. There was no creep, my gunsmith installed it and set it to 2.5 lbs. a definite upgrade. I’ll get another for an older Savage.
