I am no gun smith but I am a mechanic by trade. The trigger is a complete drop in that made installing this trigger very simple. I watched the utube video on the trigger install witch was very helpful as well. I installed my new trigger in a norinco mac 90 myself and went through all the trigger safety checks. After all checked out it was time to have some funn!! Me and my twin 15 year old boys loaded up on some surplus ammo for some good dad & son bonding. The trigger is smooth and operates flawlessly. It was easy to double tap on targets and when I want to burn through a 30 round mag,, well it only took matter seconds before we was loading up empty mags for the next round of fun. I have never fired or owed a firearm that would put rounds down range like this trigger allows me to. The kids loved it,, I loved it. Told my wife after owning this mac 90 fir several years this is now my new favorite to shoot.

Extremely simple instructions for installation. Well designed product. Item was backordered when I wanted it but they called me personally to let me know it was back in stock and held one in reserve until I indicated if I wanted it or not. Very happy with the product and service.

Pretty easy to install. Franklin Armory has a YouTube video to follow along with. Have super glue ready for hammering in the plugs to the holes. Mine popped out a few times before hitting them hard and square enough to get in. I needed to Dremel a small burr from my trigger guard rivets to get the trigger to sit flush. Ten seconds tops, careful not to do too much and touch the finish on your receiver. I didn’t need to adjust the adjustment screw to pass the function tests on the video. I trimmed the sticker to just show the bullets/function positions and it looks much better. Cyclic rate is fantastic! I have a AK Buff medium orange buffer in it that helps the recoil and might help increase the speed of cycling. Wish it had a normal looking AK safety lever to complete the look, but they probably had a reason not to do it. Won’t work in my PAP M92 or Underfolder AK because of fit as stated by the manufacturer. Only works in stamped receivers too.

5 thirty round mag dumps and it functions flawlessly! Easy drop in installation. Fast way to burn up 7.62×39 ammo.

It is a good quality piece, too bad it did not fit my zastava m70 and zastava zpap85. There is a bolt in handle that goes to secure trigger housing , but zastava AK have different angle in the receiver that does not match this trigger housing.

Depending on what ak model you have will depend on how easy to install. I have a micro draco stamped receiver. Had to do a little grinding to get trigger down flat in receiver. Once installed this thing operated flawless. never over worked the trigger. Love shooting it in binary.
