I bought these springs with the ALG ACT trigger for one of my target rifles and man what a difference. I don't even think about trigger discipline anymore. So good I bought another set for the other target rifle. No failures at all, even fires Tula. I would recommend the trigger but not the springs for a defense rifle.

I usually replace my triggers with an aftermarket trigger, but in cases where I don't (i.e. where Mil-Spec triggers are required), I always replace 2 items; 1) I use a Mil-Spec hammer, but one that has been NiB coated, and 2) I use JP springs. There is also some polishing and reshaping on the trigger itself, but without the 2 part noted above, any effort on the trigger itself is wasted. Consider doing your own trigger next time, its fun, rewarding, and you will find that you can make a great single stage, Mil-Spec trigger with a little effort, and a minimum cash outlay. Try these and you will be impressed.

A friend of mine bought a Sig 556 AR-15 rifle.the first time at the range he was floored on the hard trigger his rifle he had. so he contacted me to do a Trigger job. after doing a Trigger poundage pull test on his AR and realizing that my 9.0 pound trigger scale didn't read high enough to get the hammer to fall. I had to use my friends fish scale to see just how many pounds his factory trigger was set at. Oh my God it was a 14.5 lb trigger on his Sig AR.after doing the old polish job on the hammer and trigger components. I still had a 14.5 trigger. OK its time to get a JP spring kit for this DOG.The Spring set went in with no problem, and I finally got the 3.5 trigger I was looking for.

These springs make a difference. I have them in most of my AR’s that use a factory trigger and have never had any problems. I would recommend this as a cheap way to dramatically improve your trigger pull for your existing trigger or what you will get with a standard lower parts kit.

I thought that anything will be an improvement to the Mil Spec trigger that came from the A Precision complete lower kit. My expectations were low for this item but the results were amazing, surprised the heck out of me. The trigger went from a long take up and heaaaavy break to a butter smooth take up, light crisp break and , in my experience, shorter reset. Groupings went from around 2.5" at 25 yard, from a standing position with iron sights and no support (indoor range – don't laugh, it's freezing cold outside), to a 1.1 grouping. Best money spent on a trigger upgrade, couldn't be happier.

This made my mil-spec trigger that came in a lower parts kit usable. Before the trigger was probably close to 9 pounds (by feel). I have 2 AR-15s 1 pre-built and another that I just finished building, the pre-built also had a mil-spec but felt nearly half the weight has the one I built. Swapping out the springs with these from JP Enterprises made it not just usable but nice. It is not a clean break if that is what you are looking for it is a bit mushy but the weight was drastically reduced probably close to 4 pounds. For the price it is amazing!
