This trigger was super easy to install and worked as advertised and expected. The first stage of this trigger is smooth and light and stops nicely at the wall. With additional pressure, the break is clean and somewhat predictable. I say somewhat because the trigger provides a bit of a surprise, as it should, while you concentrate on the target. If you are used to this type of action, you can be extremely consistent. This is not a $500 trigger, but it is firearm jewelry and works great. Highly recommended.

The stock trigger in my AR15 was pretty bad… about 8 lbs of pull through what felt like an eternal scrape through an endless array of grit and grime. I was considering giving it a polish myself but kept reading about the failures of the inexperienced and basically rendering the rifle useless. This was my first AR and I was not about to sacrifice reliability over comfort.Fast forward a couple years, I'd finally had enough of my 1" groups with good ammo despite working on breathing techniques and trigger squeeze and timing. I've been a pretty good shot since I was little and grew up shooting hunting rifles and shotguns. I saw this Timney 2-stage on sale and said "that's the one".This trigger has a nice amount of slack before reaching the "wall" and once on the wall, a lite squeeze of 2 lbs will send a single round down range at the exact spot your optic is dialed into. Hold the trigger back after the spent cartridge is sent flying, and when you release the pressure, you're met with a short and satisfying click indicating the trigger is ready to go again. There's no need to pull through the slack again. There's no grit, just a nice clean break.I've read that the "Long" trigger has a little slide through the "wall", and if you really take your time and pull too lightly, you can feel it, but with a little dry fire practice, you can pull right through it and not even notice it. I like the extra distance to the break because I know it's not going to go off unexpectedly like some of the single stage triggers that are dialed down to 2 lbs or less. practice, practice, practice. My groupings are around 1/4" (typically touching) at 100 with good ammo and a still winded day. No other mods required.2013 Stag model-3 with 16" 1:9 barrel + Timney 2-stage long trigger (straight bar trigger)Typical ammo choice is Fiocchi 50 gr. V-Max .223 (great for varmints, predators, and accuracy… V-Max hand loads are even better)

Trigger is absolutely what I wanted, easy to install function well, with just just a slight take up and hit the wall and a crisp break. Trigger is light compared to the stock trigger, I’m more of a target shooter so this trigger fits me better than a single stage trigger.

Replaced the mil spec. trigger in my AERO M5 6.5 Creedmoor with the Timney AR Targa 2 Stage "Long Trigger". This trigger for my application has an excellent long first stage that nicely allows for final target adjustments that is then followed by a very crisp short no creep 2nd stage. Very highly recommended for bench and long range target shooting. Its a huge improvement over the standard mil. spec. trigger at a very decent price.

Despite someone asking if the trigger work on AR10 platform it does not fit. Then I get stuck paying for shipping. Despite this flaw on design the Tunney triggers are among the best in the market, IMO.
